Competition β registering skaters#
When the organizer opens registration, the competition appears on the front page (a bar at the top, a Competition menu item and a card in the results section) and has its own page. Nothing is shown while registration is closed.
The competition page#
It shows dates, venue, registration deadline, entry fee (first category, and each extra category), cancellation and music deadlines, the categories with their requirements, and two buttons: Register a skater and Register a group (coach / club). When the organizer has published it, π£ Announcement (PDF) opens the full announcement with step-by-step How to apply guides and QR codes.
Registering one skater#
- First and last name, nationality, date of birth.
- Club β start typing: you get clubs from earlier competitions (short or full name) and clubs from the Skating Database. Choosing one fills in the country. A club that is nowhere: type it and choose its country β the organizer confirms it. Or tick Individual, no club.
- Category β after the date of birth, the categories that fit the birth year are listed first. Some categories have a strict birth rule (others are only checked by the organizer). The category's requirements are shown under it.
- Also competes in (optional) β more categories. The entry fee box updates at once (first category + each extra one).
- E-mail and phone, news consent (optional), accept the rules β Register.
What happens: you see a confirmation page and get an e-mail with the categories and fee; the organizer and administrators are notified; the registration waits in the organizer's inbox as New. After approval you get payment instructions and the music deadline.
On a phone the form is one column:
Registering a group (coaches and club organizers)#
- Register a group β your name, coach or club organizer, e-mail, phone and your club (same club search).
- What happens: the organizer is notified and validates you for that club. Then you get an e-mail with a personal group link.
Your personal group link β how it is protected#
- The link contains a long random key; only a fingerprint of it is stored, so nobody can rebuild it.
- It works once: you press Continue and this device stays logged in to your group for 30 days. Opened again, it says "This link no longer works".
- A new link cancels the older unused ones. Links expire (7 days, or 24 hours when requested again).
- Lost it / new phone? β Get my group link β enter your e-mail β a new link (same answer whether or not the address is known).
- On your group page: Log out everywhere ends every session at once. The organizer can also block access.
- The group page address itself is a random key, never a number.
The group page#
At the top you see the stage of your group: Preparing β Sent for approval β Approved (or Changes requested with the organizer's message).
- Add a skater β name, nationality, date of birth, category and also competes in. Club and contact come from the group. New skaters are Draft β not sent: the organizer does not see them yet.
- The Ready to send? box shows: skaters, not sent yet, sent/approved, group entry fees, warnings (β a strict category does not fit β fix it first; β the organizer will check).
- Send N skaters for approval β the organizer is notified and you get a summary e-mail. You can still edit them until they are approved.
- If the organizer asks for changes, you get an e-mail, the page shows the message; fix and Send the group for approval again.
- When approved you get an e-mail with the group total; payment instructions follow.
Music#
βͺ Music next to each skater: one piece per category and program. Choose the file β the length is measured at once in the browser (β 2:48 fits / β 3:05 β 15 s too long) and again on the server (that value counts). MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC or OGG, up to 20 MB (some competitions accept MP3 only β the announcement says so). A category with two programs can have a different allowed time for each. You can play, download or replace it until the music deadline; after it, only the organizer can.
